Whenever we want to start something new, we always say, I’ll start tomorrow, or I’ll do it such and such a date and we never seem too. That’s why Sunday is my favorite day of the week. It’s a chance to start all over again any way you want.
I use Sunday’s as my rest and relax day. For exercise, I’ll go for a walk a couple times a day or hit a relaxing yoga class and, in the evening, I line up all my containers and food and meal prep for the week. I’ve noticed lately that I do a lot of mindless snacking and the pounds are slowly creeping back up again. So, my focus for meal prep this week will be properly portioning out my snacks.
So, I’ve decided that I’m going to overhaul my eating and actually plan out my food daily. Plus, I’m going to start writing it down. I have always found that accountability is my best defense against weight loss. Pouring my heart so to speak seems to help me. Once it’s out on the world wide web or Facebook, there really isn’t any way to go back.
I also plan my workouts for the week as well. Every morning will start with 30 minutes of cardio on the treadmill as well as taking the dog for a walk. Then I will pick one of my at home workouts to do which are also about a half hour to an hour. If you would like to purchase any of my workouts, send me a message and I will send you as many as you pay for. They are $10 each. They are all HIIT which stands for High-Intensity Interval Training and require minimal equipment which means you can literally do them anywhere in a small amount of space.
What do you do for meal prep that helps you stay focused on your eating and snacking? What about workouts?
